Board Member
We are looking for 3(approx) people who live within the Hampshire, Berkshire, Surrey boarders who would like to form and join our first board.
What do I have to do?
This will involve attending meetings roughly 4 times a year, where discussions will take place about Buttons & Bubbles activities and what we may decide to do in

We are looking for 3(approx) people who live within the Hampshire, Berkshire, Surrey boarders who would like to form and join our first board.
What do I have to do?
This will involve attending meetings roughly 4 times a year, where discussions will take place about Buttons & Bubbles activities and what we may decide to do in the future.
Part of the fabric of Buttons & Bubbles that wherever possible people who volunteer and work with us have lived experience of disability and or illness, (including parents, carers and siblings.) This extends to board members.

Events, Outreach & Admin Assistants
In 2025 and beyond we are looking to expand our work. We want to collaborate with more organisations and attend more events and festivals. In order to do this, we need help from volunteers. We are looking for event helpers, outreach assistants, and administrators to join our friendly team.
Who are we look
Events, Outreach & Admin Assistants
In 2025 and beyond we are looking to expand our work. We want to collaborate with more organisations and attend more events and festivals. In order to do this, we need help from volunteers. We are looking for event helpers, outreach assistants, and administrators to join our friendly team.
Who are we looking for?
Outreach Assistants:
You will be enthusiastic about bringing about more representation and inclusion.
Enjoy development and may have experience of business development.
Be a good communicator (this does not need to be verbal communication, we recognise other forms of communication such as Sign Language, Eye Gaze, etc.)
Somebody who thinks outside the box (no robots at Buttons & Bubbles we want neurodiversity)
Event Helpers:
Someone who is fun loving, kind hearted and good with communicating and interacting with children and families
A willingness to give new things a go, but also excitement when you are playing with the same activity for the 50th time that day!
Administrators:
Somebody who enjoys ticking things off a to-do list.
Who likes to be or wants to be organised
Who wants to learn new skills
Who thinks outside the box (no robots at Buttons & Bubbles, we want diversity!)
What do we expect?
Must be willing to undertake our training programme
Have an Enhanced DBS check (preferably be on the update system)
Sign our volunteer contract. (If you disagree with anything in it please do discuss it with us and we will be happy to have a conversation and make small changes if appropriate).
A positive attitude to disability and illness. We are happy to answer questions on this.
